Code Enforcement's Graffiti Removal Team also assisted in removing much of the graffiti under the Park and Ride. Code Enforcement's Quality of Life Team assisted with regular clean ups for the area that included 48 truck loads of trash over the same time frame. Between 07/19/23 and 07/25/23 the Homeless Outreach Team obtained the following results to include citing 59 individuals for Trespassing, 19 individuals for various related misdemeanor charges, 7 individuals for drug related charges, 1 for Distribution of Fentanyl, located 2 persons of interest regardingĢ unrelated Crimes against Children cases, while clearing out 12 felony warrants and 79 misdemeanor warrants. Due to a noticeable increase in recent activity the Homeless Outreach Team conducted a six day detail attempting to address the safety concerns of the citizens using the Park and Ride and the surrounding area. Over the last couple of months The Homeless Outreach Team has contacted many of the violators, referring many of the them to nearby resources, citing many for trespass as appropriate, and making many drug arrests over that time frame. Many of the customers using the Park and Ride have expressed their concerns for safety while using the Park and Ride due to the ongoing illegal activity.
